Terms of Service

By accessing or using KinderConnect (available at kinderconnect.online), you agree to be bound by these terms on behalf of your organization. If you don't agree, please don't use the service. These terms constitute a legally binding agreement between your organization and KinderConnect.

KinderConnect is a kindergarten management platform that provides attendance tracking, parent communication, daily activity feeds, photo sharing, invoicing, reporting, and related features. The service is provided as a Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) accessible via web browsers and mobile apps.

KinderConnect accounts are created at the organization level. The organization owner is responsible for managing staff accounts, parent invitations, and all data entered into the platform. Each staff member and parent receives individual login credentials. The organization owner is responsible for ensuring all users comply with these terms.

KinderConnect uses a per-child pricing model. You pay a monthly base fee of EUR 29 plus EUR 2 per active child enrolled in your organization. Billing is monthly and your invoice adjusts automatically as children are enrolled or removed. You can cancel at any time — your access continues until the end of the current billing period. We do not offer refunds for partial billing periods.

New organizations receive a 30-day free trial with full access to all features. No credit card is required to start the trial. Data entered during the trial is preserved if you subscribe. If you do not subscribe after the trial, your data will be retained for 30 days before permanent deletion.

Your organization retains full ownership of all data entered into KinderConnect, including children's records, attendance data, photographs, messages, and financial records. We process this data solely to provide the service and as described in our Privacy Policy. We do not claim any intellectual property rights over your content.

Your organization is the data controller for all children's personal data processed through KinderConnect. You are responsible for obtaining appropriate consent from parents or guardians, ensuring data is accurate, and complying with applicable data protection laws including GDPR. KinderConnect acts as a data processor and will process children's data only in accordance with your instructions and our Data Processing Agreement.

You agree not to misuse the service. This includes sharing login credentials, attempting to access other organizations' data, uploading inappropriate content, using the service for any unlawful purpose, or attempting to reverse engineer, decompile, or interfere with the platform's operation.

We target 99.9% uptime and maintain a redundant infrastructure. However, we cannot guarantee uninterrupted access. The service may be temporarily unavailable for scheduled maintenance (with advance notice) or unscheduled emergency maintenance. We will communicate any significant downtime through our status page and email notifications.

You can cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings. Upon cancellation, your access continues until the end of the current billing period. After cancellation, your data is retained for 30 days to allow for data export, after which it is permanently deleted. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these terms, with notice where practicable.

KinderConnect is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. While we strive for accuracy and reliability, we do not guarantee that the service will be error-free, uninterrupted, or free of security vulnerabilities.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, KinderConnect and its creators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of revenue, or interruption of business operations.

We may update these terms from time to time. Organization administrators will be notified by email of significant changes at least 30 days before they take effect. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance.
